Australian Scuba diving equipment sold under the brand SEA HORNET was owned by T. D. PREECE & CO. PTY LTD.
They made/distributed a wide range of underwater equipment including “Divers’ apparatus and parts and fittings therefor in this class including weight belts (swimming belts), weight belt buckles, lead weight for weight belts, gas cylinders for divers, valves and regulators for gas cylinders for divers, protector boots for gas cylinders for divers, backpacks for securing diving cylinders to divers’ backs, buoyancy vests, divers’ masks, snorkels and compasses”.
The sea hornet was another successful Australian designed and build system that only in recent years has closed down.
Historical Diving Society Aus-Pac member Alex Suslin has obtained a range of spare parts ex Military for servicing these units.
